PLEASE NOTE:
New Fees for Groveport Building & Zoning Department were effective on January 1, 2013.

The City of Groveport Building & Zoning Department issues permits and performs inspections for all phases of commercial and residential construction. Permits and inspections for can be obtained and scheduled by calling (614) 830-2045 (24) hours a day. 

Office hours are 8:00 am- 5:00 pm weekdays. Inspections called in before 9am may be scheduled for the same day unless it requires the Fire Department to be on site for the inspection. The Building Department also provides commercial building permit services by contract to Madison Township.

A certificate of zoning compliance is required for the Madison Township prior to submitting building plans to the City of Groveport for approval.
