Dog Paddle Palooza: Thursday, September 4 (6pm - 8pm)
Grab the family dog with his or her favorite toy, towel and leash and come to the outdoor Aquatic Center for an evening of fun. $2.00 per dog. Humans are not permitted in the pool with their furry friend and you must provide proof of up to date dog vaccinations to be admitted into the pool. For more information please call 614-836-1000.

Make a Difference Day
A national day of service that is coordinated locally by the Community Affairs Department in Groveport Town Hall and the Groveport Madison School District. M.A.D.D. 2013 featured the collection and packing of toiletries and home products to benefit the Homeless Families Foundation and the YWCA Family Shelter. Collection sites were at Town Hall, the Municipal Building and Recreation Center.
Groveport follows the recommendation from MORPC for the date for Halloween each year. The recommendation is that community celebrations be held on Thursday, October 31 as planned. A community Halloween Block Party, sponsored by the Groveport Madison Lions Club, followed at 7 pm in front of Groveport Town Hall.

Salute to Veterans
Held annually on November 11 at 3 pm at Veterans Park, 421 Main Street. The tribute recognizes all recent sponsors of engraved bricks in the park's Honor Court. If you would like to purchase a brick in honor of a area veteran or current military member in good standing you must return the form to The City of Groveport no later than September 28 to be recognized in the annual Veterans Day program. Santa Claus visits Groveport
Santa arrives on the first Friday in December beginning with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony across from Town Hall at 6:30 pm and the arrival of Santa on a fire truck to officially welcome the holiday season. Visit with Santa begins at 7 pm at Town Hall, 648 Main Street.
Groveport's annual Nature Fair was held on Saturday, June 14 from 1 - 4 pm at Heritage Park, 551 Wirt Road. All free.
Groveport Home & GardenTour
The tour of historic 19th century homes and buildings and local gardens of distinction was held on Sunday, June 22 from 12 - 5 pm. Presented by Groveport Garden Club, Groveport Heritage and Presevation Society, and Groveport Town Hall.
City Independence Day
Held annually on July 4, the festival features continuous entertainment, from the Main Street Parade at 11 am through fireworks at dusk.

Groveport's Hometown Car and Motorcycle Show
The annual Car Show, co-sponsored by the Southeastern Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Groveport will be bigger and better in 2015. The Car Show features the finest vehicles in the area from eras past. Featuring a juried show of cars at least 25 years old, other vehicles are welcome to participate but are ineligible for awards.
