Santa Claus visits Groveport
Santa arrives on the first Friday in December beginning with the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony across from Town Hall at 6:30 pm and the arrival of Santa on a fire truck to officially welcome the holiday season. Visit with Santa begins at 7 pm at Town Hall, 648 Main Street.

Groveport's annual Nature Fair is held in early June in Heritage Park, 551 Wirt Road. All free.
Groveport Home & Tour
The tour of historic 19th century homes and buildings and local gardens of distinction is held in late June. Tickets are $5/person at Groveport Town Hall, 648 Main Street. Children 4 and under free. Presented by Groveport Garden Club, Groveport Heritage and Presevation Society, and Groveport Town Hall.
City Independence Day
Held annually on July 4, the festival features continuous entertainment, from the Main Street Parade at 11 am through fireworks at dusk.
KidsFest was held on Saturday, August 17 with Cops & Kids combining with KidsFest for one huge end of summer festival. Held at Crooked Alley KidSpace, 630 Wirt Road, the annual event offered children ages 5 - 12 an end of summer festival just for them, while parents appreciate the valuable information in the Back to School Expo designed to help prepare little ones for school.
Groveport's Hometown Car and Motorcycle Show and Taste of Groveport and Madison Township
Held on the third Sunday of September, the annual Car Show is co-sponsored by the Southeastern Franklin County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Groveport. The Car Show features the finest vehicles in the area from eras past. Featuring a juried show of cars at least 25 years old, awards are presented to the Top 30 entrants at 4 pm. Other vehicles are welcome to participate but are ineligible for awards.

Held each year on the second Saturday in October offers music, homemade crafts and skilled craft demonstrators, all located in and around the grounds of Groveport's 1820's Log House on Wirt Road. For a flyer on all 2013 Apple Butter Day activities, please click below:
Make a Difference Day
A national day of service that is coordinated locally by the Community Affairs Department in Groveport Town Hall and the Groveport Madison School District. M.A.D.D. 2013 featured the collection and packing of toiletries and home products to benefit the Homeless Families Foundation and the YWCA Family Shelter. Groveport follows the recommendation from MORPC for the date for Halloween each year. The recommendation is that community celebrations be held on Thursday, October 31 as planned. A community Halloween Block Party, sponsored by the Groveport Madison Lions Club, followed at 7 pm in front of Groveport Town Hall.

Salute to Veterans
Held annually on November 11 at 3 pm at Veterans Park, 421 Main Street. The tribute recognizes all recent sponsors of engraved bricks in the park's Honor Court. If you would like to purchase a brick in honor of a area veteran or current military member in good standing you must return the form to The City of Groveport no later than September 28 to be recognized in the annual Veterans Day program.
