Program Coordinator

$15.16/hr - $19.76/hr

 The City of Groveport is seeking to fill a full time position in our Community Affairs Department.  Applications are available online at www.groveport.org and are also available at Groveport Municipal Building, 655 Blacklick Street, Groveport, OH 43125. This position is responsible for community art programs (e.g. ensures diverse programming, plans summer camps and block parties), teaches art classes as necessary.  Responsible for oversight and management of art instructor programming.  Creates various publications (e.g. bimonthly calendar, class flyers, etc) using various computer software programs, creates press releases to promote positive public relations for facility events and programs.  Must be available for evening and weekend work.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Completion of secondary education; bachelor's degree in education or art preferred; one (1) year previous  experience in community relations or public speaking; must occasionally work on Saturdays for the public and on weekends for special events; rior experience working in a government or business office; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
